Jindivick is set in the beautiful countryside of West Gippsland and is in an area designated by Tourism Victoria as a Gourmet-Deli Region. There are several attractions in the area. For those who like being out of doors there are the Nangara and Glen Nayook Reserves, The Tooronga River and Falls at Noojee and a restored trestle railway bridge; the only bridge on the line to survive the 1939 fires. There are a number of country drives to the Blue Rock Dam, to Mount Worth National Park or to Mirboo North. For those who like attractive shops Yarragon has a well deserved reputation as a stopping place on the Freeway.
Further afield you can make day excursions to the Walhalla Goldfields and Railway, Mt Baw Baw, Korumburra, Leongatha or the Yarra Valley but these will take a full day to accomplish. Wherever you go driving through the local countryside is a delight and the countryside attractive.
